today i sat on the front porch high as hell, it dawned on me; slavery was never abolished it only extended to every fucker like you and me. trapped inside this 9-5 at 35/40+ hours a week. if the end of the day doesn't break your back - it'll sure as hell break your knees. what hurts the most is all this holding on. the color leaves your mind right before your eyes you simply empty out. tonight you carried me up those fronts steps, shame on me. never had a job i came from every day that didn't leave me feeling raped by misery. trapped inside this 9-5 at 35/40+ hours a week. if the end of the day doesn't crush your skull - it'll sure as hell break your knees.
so what do you do to give your life for it? your television. your car payments, your fucking mortgage...
